Now for sale-Blood Brothers: A Jarvis Mann Detective Novel

Reviews are coming in:
“I just want to start off by saying this one is by far my favorite out of the Jarvis Mann series! R. Weir has taken this book to another level! I was sucked immediately into the story from the first few pages. I couldn’t get enough and I never wanted it to end”-Brandi Reeves-Pearson.

R. Weir gives us another spine tingling tale. This time we get to dive into his past and see what makes him tick. It will leave you on the edge of your seat until the very end!!-Chrissy Dyer

Still recovering from his last case, which brought painful injuries and heartache, Jarvis picks himself up to help family out of a dire situation. A call from his sister-in-law leads him back to where he grew up. Big brother, Flynn, has dug himself a hole he can't climb out of, one filled with lies and deceit. Jarvis lends a hand, and is soon caught between Feds and gangsters, leading to peril for all involved.
With sharp tongue, nerves of steel, and fierce determination, Jarvis comes to his brother’s reluctant assistance. But can Jarvis save him from the depths to which he has fallen without getting them all killed? Coming to terms with his life growing up, and how he became who he is, Jarvis faces his past, present and future, and confronts an evil worse than anything he’s encountered before, one that may leave Jarvis, and all those he holds dear, dead.

First a missing college football player who has lost his way due to injuries, leading him to make risky choices. The second, surveillance on a lying cheating husband whose wife wants a divorce. Each of the cases getting more and more complex and dangerous, directing Jarvis to a risky plan, leading to an unexpected conclusion. Twice the Danger, Twice the Action, Twice as Fatal.

Five Star Review for Twice As Fatal

Reviews are still coming in for "Twice As Fatal" and here is the first Five Star Review:

I have read other books by R. Weir and once again I was not disappointed. He is a great writer and each book I read is even better. So first off I want to say thank you again to him for giving me the opportunity to read and review his newest book.

So this book brings back Jarvis Mann the detective. In this book he is helping his landlord Kate find out some information on her husband. Along with that case, this book also picks up the story of his friend Bill, who often helps him with his cases, and his missing son Ray. You are first introduced to Bill and Ray in Tracking a Shadow, another of R. Weir's books. Throughout this book these two cases seem to collide bringing with it action, betrayal, and a sense of loyalty.

I absolutely love the Jarvis character. He just has a great, dont mess with me attitude that is easy to relate too. I also am really rooting for him and Melissa. :)

To me, this book was the best one yet and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I really enjoy reading books by R. Weir. His writing is good and the stories are easy to love and get swept into. I look forward to reading more from him in the future....Stormi

Early Reviews for Twice As Fatal

A couple of links with early reviews for Twice As Fatal:

Twice as Fatal is R. Weir’s third Jarvis Mann Detective novel.  It is an engaging page-turner with an intricate plot and a wide variety of interesting characters.  Weir weaves in characters and references from the prior Jarvis Mann books, however, each book can be thoroughly enjoyed as a stand-alone novel.

R. Weir’s Jarvis Mann is a likable sort for a low rent P.I. He is someone you might know or meet at a cookout. He has wit and charm, but not too much. He can hold his own in a fight but does tend to get his ass kicked occasionally. The story has just enough twists and turns to keep you turning the pages.

Thanks for Julie and Sandra for the wonderful reviews.
