Twice as Fatal is R. Weir’s third Jarvis Mann Detective
novel. It is an engaging page-turner
with an intricate plot and a wide variety of interesting characters. Weir weaves in characters and references from
the prior Jarvis Mann books, however, each book can be thoroughly enjoyed as a
stand-alone novel.
R. Weir’s Jarvis Mann is a likable sort for a low rent P.I.
He is someone you might know or meet at a cookout. He has wit and charm, but
not too much. He can hold his own in a fight but does tend to get his ass
kicked occasionally. The story has just enough twists and turns to keep you
turning the pages.
Thanks for Julie and Sandra for the wonderful reviews.
